1. What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link to a third-party website that may allow the provider or an affiliate network to recognise that a visitor was referred by BoBook.

If you follow an affiliate link and later make an eligible booking or purchase, BoBook may receive a commission or other compensation from the provider or affiliate network.

2. No additional charge from BoBook

Using an affiliate link does not create an additional BoBook service charge for you.

The price, taxes, fees and other conditions of the third-party service are determined by the relevant provider and are shown by that provider before you complete a booking or purchase.

BoBook does not guarantee that a price available through an affiliate link is the lowest price available elsewhere. You are free to compare prices and book through another provider or channel.

3. Our recommendations

BoBook aims to present travel options that are relevant to the customer’s request, preferences and Travel Plan.

The existence of an affiliate relationship may allow BoBook to earn revenue when a customer chooses a particular external provider, but it does not change the fact that the customer remains free to choose whether, where and how to make a booking.

Where reasonably practical, BoBook aims to distinguish useful travel recommendations from purely commercial promotion and to make the commercial nature of affiliate relationships clear.

4. Third-party contracts

Affiliate links normally lead to independent third-party providers such as accommodation providers, booking platforms, transport providers, activity providers or other travel-related businesses.

If you make a booking or purchase through a third-party provider, the contract for that third-party service is generally concluded directly between you and that provider.

The provider’s own terms and conditions, cancellation rules, payment terms, refund policies and privacy practices apply.

Receiving an affiliate commission does not make BoBook the supplier of the third-party travel service.

5. Prices and availability

Third-party prices and availability can change at any time.

A price or offer shown in a BoBook Travel Plan, itinerary or Research Item may reflect information available when the research was performed and may differ from the final price shown by the provider.

You should always verify the final price, availability and conditions on the provider’s website before making a booking or payment.

6. Affiliate tracking and cookies

Some affiliate providers or networks may use referral identifiers, cookies or similar technologies to determine whether a booking or purchase originated from BoBook.

Where BoBook’s use of non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies requires consent, those technologies must follow your cookie preferences.

When you leave bobook.eu and visit an independent provider’s website, that provider may process cookies and personal data according to its own policies.

For more information, please read our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

7. Current and future partners

BoBook may work with different travel providers, affiliate networks or commercial partners over time.

The presence or absence of a particular provider in this disclosure does not mean that BoBook has a permanent or exclusive relationship with that provider.

Where necessary, individual links, offers or sections of the website may contain an additional disclosure indicating that they are affiliate or sponsored links.

8. Editorial independence

BoBook retains control over the organisation and presentation of its own Travel Plans, itineraries and travel research.

Affiliate compensation does not guarantee a provider inclusion in a Travel Plan and does not guarantee a particular ranking or recommendation.
